Somewhere in the midst of reading about the Rally to Restore Sanity, wishing I could be in DC sometimes, and thinking that if I were straight I should marry either Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, I came across this post by Chris Greenland, about a book called Machine of Death. Back in 2005 Ryan North wrote a Dinosaur Comics strip which mentioned a series of stories about a machine which predicted, albeit in a cryptic manner, how its user would die.
