iPhone TARDIS Lock and Home Screens (iOS 5+ versions)

A TARDIS lockscreen for your iPhone: now iOS5 compatible and less Thal-friendly!
I updated the TARDIS lockscreen I previously posted, so that it was integrated with the camera icon which has been added in iOS5. My original intention was just to redo the shading to accommodate the shortened slide-bar, but there was something about that camera lens, staring out at me, unblinking, uncaring…
So, here it is. If you’re still on iOS4 then head to the original post. Otherwise, grab this version: just right-click and ‘save as’, then transfer to your iPhone using email (or do whatever your inner nerd tells you is necessary). Once again, the colours look odd, but that’s to compensate for the lockscreen overlay, and the ‘Police Box’ text is missing because the time and date go there.
There’s also a home screen, which is darker, so that it doesn’t interfere with your icons.

This is very cool. I love it on my 3GS Do you see an opportunity to make it taller for the iPhone 5?
Alas, until I get an iPhone 5 (i.e. no time in the foreseeable future) I can’t ‘upgrade’ the lock screen for it.

I don’t have a version without the Dalek and a shortened lock-bar, but try the previous version (a link is in the post): although the lock-bar isn’t shortened the shading which extends beyond it isn’t particularly obtrusive.

I haven’t upgraded yet, but I assume it’ll work fine on iOS 6, as it’s just an image which one chooses to use as wallpaper for the lockscreen.

Awesome!! So awesome. I made my home screen the inside of the 10th doctors tardis so when I unlock I am inside!
how do I use it? it is just a jpg not a theme, how is the dalek icon supposed to replace the camera standard icon?
Browse to the site on your iPhone and then you can save the image to your camera roll. View it in the camera roll and use the share button (bottom left), and choose “Use As Wallpaper”, then “Set”, then “Set Lock Screen” (or “Set Home Screen”, as appropriate).
I hav an iPhone 5 so the screen size and shape is different. Any chance u could make 1 to fit it??
